Apex Investments is a Charlotte-based holding company acquiring and building supply chain and industrial services businesses across the Southeast United States. We are in active growth mode — acquiring companies and building the infrastructure to scale a portfolio of real industrial businesses.
This is not a fund with a five-year exit timeline. We are building companies to last.
What You Will Do
- Map markets and identify new customer segments and verticals for portfolio companies
- Build and refine customer acquisition strategies and account targeting approaches
- Analyze competitive positioning and identify whitespace opportunities
- Develop and manage business development pipeline initiatives across portfolio companies
- Track pipeline performance and continuously refine targeting and outreach strategies
- Deliver growth insights and strategic recommendations directly to leadership
What We Are Looking For
- 7–12 years in strategy consulting, market research, or industry advisory
- Hands-on experience in market mapping, customer segmentation, and industry analysis
- Track record of identifying new customer opportunities and translating them into actionable growth strategies
- Background in industrial services, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing — or strong appetite to go deep quickly
- Comfortable building frameworks from scratch, not just applying existing ones
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and market intelligence into clear strategic recommendations
- Ready to move from advisor to owner of outcomes
